What to know before contacting for a Custom Rod

Every custom rod is built specifically for you and your style of fishing. Because of that, pricing and build time depend on the details you choose. All Custom Rods take at least 14 days from the order date to compeltion, but can be up to 30 days. Before reaching out, it helps to have an idea of the following:

Rod Specs- Desired rod length (example: 7’6”, 8’0”)

- Target species (snook, tarpon, snapper, offshore, etc.)

- Power (light, medium, medium heavy, heavy)

- Action (fast, moderate, slow)- Line rating and lure weight (if known)

Rod Components- Handle type (cork, EVA, or carbon fiber)

- Grip style (full grip or split grip)

- Reel seat (graphite or aluminum)

Guides- Single foot (lighter) or double foot (stronger)- Any color or style preferences

Custom Design- Thread colors- Decorative wraps (optional)- Name or text on the rod (optional)

Budget- Having a general budget in mind helps me recommend the best setup for you.
