At Florida Rod.Co, every rod is handcrafted one at a time using premium components and carefully inspected before it leaves the shop. We take pride in our workmanship and stand behind the quality of every custom build.

Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

Florida Rod.Co provides the original owner with a Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covering defects in craftsmanship for the lifetime of the rod.

This warranty covers failures resulting from the way the rod was built, including:

  • Guide installation
  • Thread wraps
  • Epoxy finish
  • Reel seat installation
  • Grip installation
  • Hook keeper installation
  • Decorative wraps and trim work
  • Any workmanship-related assembly defects

If a defect is determined to be the result of our craftsmanship, Florida Rod.Co will repair or replace the affected components at no labor charge.

Blank Warranty

Rod blanks are manufactured by third-party companies and are subject to the warranty policies provided by their respective manufacturers.

If your blank qualifies for replacement under the manufacturer’s warranty, Florida Rod.Co will gladly assist you throughout the warranty process whenever possible.

If the damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s policy, we will work with you to provide the most cost-effective repair or rebuild options available.

Crash Replacement Program

Accidents happen.

While accidental damage is not covered under our workmanship warranty, Florida Rod.Co offers a Crash Replacement Program to help get you back on the water.

If your rod is accidentally damaged, contact us with photos and a description of what happened. We’ll evaluate the damage and provide the most affordable repair or rebuild option possible.

Repair and replacement costs vary depending on the extent of the damage, component availability, and blank replacement costs.

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidental breakage
  • High-sticking or improper fish fighting techniques
  • Vehicle doors, tailgates, or transportation accidents
  • Stepping on or dropping the rod
  • Abuse, misuse, or neglect
  • Improper storage
  • Normal cosmetic wear
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Damage caused by impacts or crushing
  • Damage resulting from use outside the rod’s intended specifications

Warranty Claims

If you believe your rod has a workmanship defect, please contact us before attempting any repairs.

When submitting a warranty claim, please include:

  • Your name
  • Order number (if available)
  • Photos of the damage
  • A brief description of the issue

Once your claim is reviewed, we will determine whether the issue falls under our workmanship warranty or the manufacturer’s blank warranty and provide the next steps.
